Collection: Rye Whiskey

Rye whiskey has been traditionally associated with the Northern United States, Pennsylvania and Maryland in particular, and it is easy to see why as it's the perfect environment for growing perhaps the World's highest quality rye. Rye whiskey has similar rules to bourbon, in that it must be distilled from a mash bill of at least 51% rye,  aged in virgin oak barrels, and aged for a least 2 years to be called straight rye whiskey. After going out of fashion in the mid 20th century, it's making a huge come-back with a growing number of fans who appreciated the spicy complexities one of the world's great whiskey styles.
